Story: Ashleigh would be a great addition to a two-parent family that can dedicate emotional support and long-term care to her. Ashleigh has an outgoing personality and also has a sensitive side. She enjoys spending time in the kitchen learning how to cook -- but unlike most kids she won’t eat pizza! When not in the kitchen, she enjoys being outside, especially when the weather starts to turn warm, as she likes watching the flowers begin to grow. Ashleigh’s other interests include arts and crafts, watching Hannah Montana, and reading romance and comedy novels. If your family has animals she will be glad to pitch in a helping hand, especially if there are cats. Ashleigh does not shy away from “girly” colors including pink and purple. Her favorite holidays include Christmas because she considers herself a Catholic. She also likes to celebrate her birthday but dislikes Halloween. A family that has training in specialized needs would most suit Ashleigh because of her need for long-term care.
