ADOPTED!
Please note these children must be placed together and that a Native American family is preferred since maintaining cultural connections is vital.
These special boys are in need of a family that can provide them with a great deal of love, support, structure and attention. The boys must be placed together, and their ideal family will have no other children and plenty of space for them to grow. The boys are Native American (Nambe) and although their tribe has given permission to seek a family outside of their jurisdiction, a Native American family is preferable. Any prospective family must be willing to ensure that the boys participate in tribal functions such as feast days in order to maintain their important connections to their heritage. Due to the children's need to retain these connections, placements in states outside those immediately surrounding NM (CO, AZ, TX, UT) will most likely not be considered.
Joaquin (left), eight, is an affectionate second grader who, as the oldest of this bunch, has often found himself having to defend and protect his younger siblings. He is currently struggling a bit in school in the areas of math and reading, but is reportedly trying his very best!
Two year old Jose (middle) is a fun, loving, and very affectionate child who thrives on positive attention. He really enjoys playing with his brothers, and is learning to talk!
Six year old Mario (right) is a second grader who loves to make new friends, and gets along well with his peers, but also enjoys spending time with his brothers. Loving and resilient, and the calmest of the group, he is the “peacemaker’ among the boys, often explaining things to his brothers.
