Jose is a 14 year old, friendly young man with a good sense of humor and an easy smile. He is currently in treatment for severe emotional and behavioral problems that resulted in a disrupted adoptive placement.
Jose generally gets along well with his peers and adults, preferring to be around children his own age.
He likes spending time outside, riding his bicycle and playing football and baseball. His favorite foods are Chinese, Pizza, and just about anything else.
Jose really wants a family that will teach him skills in camping fishing, and possibly hunting, as he has always had an interest in these, but never has had the opportunity to experience them.
Jose has a sister whom he needs to stay in contact with. He would do best in a household with either no other children or children who are the same age or older. Jose has suffered many disappointments in his young life, and would benefit from a family with a lot of time to devote to helping him emotionally connect and build trust with adults.
