Picturing A Home For Every Child
Waiting Children:Nate
Nate, age 12 [photo by Paul Glickman] ADOPTED!

Nate is a remarkable young man who is very bright, cheerful, funny and does well academically. Though highly intelligent, he is currently in special education due to mild behavioral concerns. He has trouble socially in large group environments and does better in a small classroom.

Nate is very energetic and craves attention, and he does well when given clear directives and a lot of focus. Though Nate is somewhat socially immature he gets along better with adults then with children his own age, but he is developing friendships and learning how to get along with his peers.

Nate would like to be adopted into a family with a mother, father and other children. This is truly a special young man who we expect will excel in a home with clear boundaries and loving attention.

artist comment:
Photographer Paul Glickman truly enjoyed spending time with Nate. He captured so many wonderful shots that, in addition to the final Heart Gallery portrait, he created an entire book that illustrates the many unique and wonderful facets of Nate's personality.
