Picturing A Home For Every Child
Waiting Children:Angelique

ADOPTED!
Fourteen-year-old Angelique could light up the world with her smile. In between doing gymnastics, riding her bike and listening to music, she likes to munch on pizza and enchiladas. Angelique has a great sense of humor and enjoys anything that allows her to express her creativity, especially theater, singing and art, which help her deal with her sometimes intense feelings about her past. Angelique’s dream, however, is to become a pediatrician since, as the oldest of six children, she has come to love helping younger children. Angelique would love to be adopted by a family who can help her deal with her attachment issues and allow her to remain in contact with her siblings.

If you are interested in this child or other New Mexico children available for adoption, or want information about adopting or fostering through CYFD, please contact Diane Granito, CYFD Adoption Event Manager, at 505.476.1045 or email: dianeg.granito@state.nm.us.

For Angelique:
"As you think so shall you be. Rise above: it’s about what you have in life, finding the lessons and blessings that can give you the strength to be the beautiful young woman you’re going to be."
