Picturing A Home For Every Child
Waiting Children:Arnaldo

Arnaldo, who likes to be called “Arnold,” is a personable, outgoing child who is curious about life and wants to learn. In his free time, Arnold likes playing basketball, bike riding, soccer, swimming, cooking and art … and will never pass up ice cream! Arnold looks up to older children, but also needs some guidance regarding boundaries and what is or isn’t appropriate. Arnold is currently in treatment foster care and receives special education services and speech therapy. He is working hard on adoption issues and learning to deal with the losses in his life and with the traumas of his past. Although Arnold will sometimes challenge male authority, he responds well to redirection. Arnold would do well in a two-parent family with a strong male role model.

"Meeting and photographing Arnaldo was magical and inspirational. ... I felt an instant trust with Arnaldo and allowed him to carry my camera. A very bright boy who was so easy to spend time with, his loving energy was infectious and I found it difficult to end the photo session. ... I didn't want my time with Arnaldo to end."
