Heart Gallery New Mexico [A New Mexico Childre, Youth & Families Department Project]
Picturing A Home For Every Child
Waiting Children:Gilbert
Gilbert is a sensitive fourteen year old who, though shy, lights up a room when he shares his smile. A boy with well-balanced interests, Gilbert enjoys both indoor activities like board games and the outdoors…especially riding his bike. Gilbert is in regular education classes, and really likes learning new computer skills. When asked about his hopes for the future, Gilbert says that he would like to have a family and a place where he feels like he belongs and is supported.
