Picturing A Home For Every Child

Waiting Children:Jason

Jason, age 15 [photo by Claire Lighton]

Jason, who is 15 and in the 9th grade, has a sweet, pleasant personality. He likes to please, smiles easily and responds well to positive attention. He likes to be active and he loves the outdoors, especially riding and working with horses.

Jason would do well in a family where he is the only child. He needs a family who will understand his needs and help him to explore and talk about his feelings. He needs an opportunity to be a child himself and to feel special. Jason would like to be placed in a family that will allow him to maintain contact with his siblings and grandparents. They have been—and continue to be—an important part of his life.
