ADOPTED! Jerome, Jaycob, and Joshua are an active Navajo sibling group who enjoy attending pow wows.
Jerome (6), who is slightly more reserved than his brother, has a great imagination and enjoys building things. He also likes to wrestle, ride his bike, and in the summer, he loves to go swimming. He attends Kindergarten all day and is doing well.
Jaycob (4) is a talkative child who loves to be hugged. Although he would prefer to play outside most of the time, Jaycob really enjoys reading, especially before bed, and his favorite book is "Winnie the Pooh." He gets excited to see and learn new things, and enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together.
Joshua is a creative 11-year-old who is looking for a family for himself and his two half-brothers, ages 4 and 6. He loves to learn new things, and is described as a “pleaser” who enjoys positive male role models. He thrives on attention and may occasionally show signs of jealousy. Joshua, a 5th-grader whose favorite subjects are art, science and reading, is neither shy nor outgoing. he relates well to other kids, especially those who are his age or younger. He has an active imagination that enables him to “create something out of anything,” according to his social worker. Joshua has confidence in his abilities, and loves his brothers very much. Joshua would do well in a two-parent home that would include his brothers. Overall, he is a wonderful child with great potential and a loving heart.
We are looking for a strong adoptive family who is willing and able to adopt both of the brothers. The children are Navajo, and we would like to place them together with a Native-American family. The Indian Child Welfare Act does apply to these boys.
