Picturing A Home For Every Child
Waiting Children:Destiny
Destiny, age 14 [photot by Gene Peach]

Destiny is an active, bright girl who loves being around people. Her social worker calls her a "social butterfly" as she enjoys spending time with friends, and her biological and foster families. Destiny is not a girl who likes to sit around, but prefers to be active by singing, dancing, riding her bike and swimming. This year she hopes to become a cheerleader and sing in the school choir. When she grows up, Destiny would like to appear on "American Idol," and possibly sing professionally.

Destiny is part of a large sibling group and will need to remain in contact with her brothers and sister as these relationships are very important to her.
